My journey into business began before Je'don Group formally existed.

Property was one of the earliest areas where I learned how business actually works. Not just selling. People. Trust. Negotiation. Operations. Capital. Relationships. Execution.

When Je'don Group was formally established in 2021, it gave structure to something I wanted to take much further.

I am proud that my journey is being built from Asaba. Not because Asaba needs to become the centre of every business we build. But because it reminds me of something. You do not have to begin where everyone expects important things to begin.

The doctrine

How I build.

01

Structure first.

Plan it, architect it, then build it. Most of what goes wrong later was decided before anyone wrote a line of code or broke ground.

If you intend to build something large, first make sure it can carry the weight.

Read the note

02

Infrastructure over apps.

Own the rails and let products ride on top. Africa does not need another app; it needs the systems apps depend on.

The best infrastructure does not need to own every experience. It makes better experiences possible.

Read the note

03

Embedded. Then open.

Prove the system inside our own companies before offering it to anyone else. Internal use is the honest test.

This creates a useful sequence: build internally, prove operational value, strengthen the infrastructure, then open it externally.

Read the note

04

Build the moat. Integrate the commodity.

Build the part that creates lasting advantage. Buy or integrate everything that does not.

The long-term moat may not be any single company. It may be the infrastructure connecting them.

05

Build for the long term.

A business should compound into an institution. That takes patience most markets do not reward, which is exactly why it works.

The institution has to become larger than the individual who started it.

The journey

2021 to now.

2021

From enterprise to structure

After years of activity in the property sector, the business entered a new chapter with the formal establishment of Je'don Group in Asaba, Delta State. This created the foundation for building a diversified group of companies under one long-term vision.

2022

Expanding beyond property

Je'don Group strengthened its presence in real estate and expanded into construction. What began with property evolved into a broader approach to the built environment, creating the foundation for an increasingly diversified portfolio.

2023

Exploring technology

The Group began exploring technology as the next major area of expansion. This period focused on understanding how software, digital products and technology infrastructure could support both the Group's existing businesses and new opportunities.

2024

Building new capabilities

Technology became a formal part of the Group's direction with the expansion of TEKAnology. The portfolio also grew into media production and interior design, extending Je'don Group's capabilities across technology, creative production and the built environment.

2025

Expanding into new markets

Je'don Group entered a new phase of diversification with the founding of Rovepoint and expansion into business and brand consultancy. These additions extended the Group into travel, strategic business advisory and brand development, while creating new ways to serve individuals, entrepreneurs and growing businesses. This was also the year artificial intelligence became a deliberate focus, with early work beginning on Intellopia.

2026

Strengthening the ecosystem

The Group's focus turns toward strengthening its existing companies, improving operational capacity and creating deeper connections across the portfolio. Alongside this consolidation, development continues on Centradeck, a shared technology ecosystem designed to connect products, infrastructure and users across the Group. Intellopia's artificial intelligence capability deepens alongside it, developing intelligent systems that help organisations improve decision-making and automate operations.

Beyond business

Business is a large part of my life, but it is not the whole of it. I value family, learning, travel, meaningful conversations and the quiet moments that give perspective to everything I build.

The companies take most of my hours. They do not take the part of me that decides what the hours are for.

Family is the first of those. It is the reason long-term thinking is not an abstraction to me. Building something that outlasts you only means anything if you know who it outlasts you for.

Learning is the second. I read widely and mostly outside my own industries, because the useful ideas rarely arrive from the place you are already looking. Travel does something similar. Seeing how another city solves a problem you thought was fixed changes what you believe is possible at home.

Then conversation. Not networking. Conversation. The kind where someone disagrees with you carefully enough that you change your mind. I have learned more from those than from most things I have read.

And the quiet. Building is loud. Decisions arrive faster than judgement does. The quiet moments are where the two catch up with each other, and I have stopped treating them as time I am not working.
